Bobcat AE19 Walk-Behind Aerator

Aeration isn’t glamorous work, but it’s the foundation of every healthy turf program. The Bobcat AE19 Walk-Behind Aerator is built to do it right: efficiently, consistently, and without babysitting the machine every step of the way. Powered by a 4-cycle Honda GX120 engine, the AE19 drives 30 hollow, hardened alloy steel tines into the soil at depths up to 2.7 inches. Each pass pulls actual cores, not just holes, giving water, air, and nutrients a direct path to the root zone. At 19 inches of aeration width and a working rate of up to 29,000 square feet per hour, it’s sized for properties where you need to move but still navigate tight gates, curved beds, and landscaped areas a larger machine can’t reach. Handlebar-mounted controls put everything in easy reach. No hunting around the machine mid-job. The design keeps the operator in control and moving forward, which is exactly what matters when you’re billing by the hour and managing crew schedules across multiple stops. At 220 pounds, the AE19 is substantial enough to deliver consistent tine penetration in compacted soils without being difficult to load and transport. Bobcat builds this machine to stay in service season after season. Open access to lubrication fittings and other critical components means your crew can knock out routine maintenance without fighting the machine. Less downtime, more productive days. That’s the kind of reliability commercial operators depend on year after year.
