Bobbin Picture Frame, Mustard

The Bobbin brings a little polish to the photographs you keep closest. It belongs on a desk, a bedside table or a mantel, holding a wedding snapshot or a child’s first school portrait. The wooden bobbins around the edge are finished in a glossy lacquer that catches the light. It stands on a shelf or hangs on the wall, portrait or landscape. Why we love it: It was the color that drew us in first. Bertola’s lacquers are glossy and deep, and Bobbin Picture Frame won us over right away. We’ve also come to believe that a frame with a favorite photograph tucked inside is the simplest gift there is, and still one of the most thoughtful. In 2021, Poppy, a teacher and young mother, made a few bobbin frames to hold photographs of her boys as gifts for family, and it was the first creative thing she’d had time for in years. Her colors come from the canals near her home in England, where brightly painted narrow boats drift through dark water. Each frame is still made by hand, one order at a time.   Please review our Delivery & Return policies for all details or contact our customer care team.
