Bob Hope Camellia

The Bob Hope Camellia (Camellia japonica) is a multi-stemmed evergreen shrub famous for its exceptionally large, ruffled, deep-red semi-double flowers and a center of bright yellow golden stamens, giving the blooms a complex, rose-like texture. Beyond its winter and early spring floral display, the plant is highly valued for its dense, glossy dark green foliage, which provides year-round structure and texture in the landscape. It is commonly used as a focal point, a flowering privacy hedge, or an elegant addition to woodland gardens.   Botanical Name   Camellia japonica 'Bob Hope' Also Known As   Japanese Camellia | Common Camellia | Red Camellia | 霍伯山茶 | 鲍伯霍伯山茶 | 包勃霍伯山茶 Specifications Plant Type   Native From   USDA Zone   Light Needs   Watering Needs   Leaves   Life Cycle   Avg.
