First in Flight: A Historical Aviation Board Game

First in Flight is a fast-paced historical aviation game from designers Ben Rosset and Matthew O'Malley (The Search for Planet X, Between Two Cities). Take on the role of a pioneer in the race for heavier-than-air flight, balancing risks and rewards in the workshop and in your test flights. Uncover and repair the design flaws in your flyer to outpace your opponents, and make improvements to build your range. Will you crash and burn, or be first in flight?  Race to the record books with First in Flight, a lofty deck-building game that puts you in the earliest pilots' seats. Up to four players choose from historical aviation pioneers vying to conquer the skies by testing their flyers, improving their designs, and taking risks to defy gravity.  Game Components: 1 Game Board 4 Players Mats 4 Pilot Pawns 4 Flight Record Trackers 11 Pilot Cards 180 Flight Cards 42 Development Cards 40 Coins 1 Year Tracker 1 Rulebook 1 Solo Rules Reference Recommended for ages 12 and up.
