Say Goodbye to Over or Underwatering Designed for Grassroots Living Soil Pots but will work with any container in similar sizes. Manual watering is one of the biggest struggles for living soil growers. Too dry? Your microbes suffer. Too wet? Roots can't breathe. And when life gets busy, remembering to water, or finding someone reliable while you’re out of town... can feel like a chore that risks your entire grow. That’s where the Blumat Container Add On Kit Comes in.  It's the easiest, most reliable way to automate your watering and give your soil what it deserves, consistent moisture, delivered right when your plants need it. Here’s how simple it is: Step 1: Choose your container size (or the closest match) and the number of them you want to setup. That’s it! Once you’ve made your selections, you’ll have everything you need to install a worry-free watering system in each container. Just be sure you have the reservoir and supply line kit.  Pre-calibrated Blumat Sensors = Foolproof Setup  No more guessing or dialing things in. Our kit uses preset sensors that come ready to work right out of the box. It’s so straightforward, anyone can do it. Why Growers Love It: Perfect moisture for living soil = healthier plants Saves time: spend it gardening, not hauling watering cans Travel with peace of mind Built for easy expansion as your grow evolves Instructions for Use: Unpack your kit and identify all components Soak Blumat sensors and connect underwater in a bucket Connect the supply tubing from the reservoir to your container(s) Insert Blumat sensors into soil and connect to tubing Adjust the height of the reservoir to at least 3.5 feet above the soil surface Fill the reservoir, purge the air from the lines, test the system, and let it run! Notice: This kit does not come with supply line and reservoir. This is for adding on to existing system.  Pro Tip: Use a high-quality living soil mix and mulch layer for best results with your Blumat system. Ready to stop stressing about watering? Your soil, your plants, and your schedule will thank you. Unlock the Power of Rhizophagy for Next-Level Nutrient Uptake  Most growers focus on feeding plants with water-soluble nutrients. They even say organics is the same, but nature has a better way. It’s called rhizophagy, and it’s how healthy roots work with microbes to draw nutrients directly from their environment. For this process to work at its best, your soil needs one thing above all: consistent moisture. That’s exactly what Blumats deliver. Paired with a rich mulch layer, they create the perfect microclimate where microbial life thrives, and roots can feed the way nature intended, directly from living interactions, not just dissolved nutrients. Better moisture = better microbial action = bigger, healthier plants.
