Blueair Pro Series Particle Filter

Blueair Pro Particle Filters are specially designed to fit the Blueair Pro Line of air purifiers. The HEPASilent technology utilized in these filters combines electrostatic and mechanical filtration allowing for peak performance levels for longer periods of time. Particles are electrically charged as they pass through the charging chamber. Then, as polluted air flows through the gradient structure filter, charged particles adhere to the polypropylene fibers. Blueair's fiber media is free of chemicals and binders and is ultrasonically bonded to prevent new particles from being added to your environment. Millions of ultra-thin fibers of different sizes and layers are interwoven to create a progressive filter design. Particles are locked in and never released back into your environment, even when the filter is heavily loaded. Captures pollen, dust, exhaust particles and even bacteria. The naturally antibacterial polypropylene media is environmentally friendly, ultimately breaking down into carbon dioxide and water. Replace filters approximately every 6 months by simply opening the lid, removing the old filter and sliding in the new one. No additives or washing required. Blueair filters produce no ozone, in fact their ozone levels tested at less than the incoming air.
