Blue Oak Shawl Designed by Rachel Brockman Pick two colors that sing to you and settle in for a relaxing knit. The colorwork is an easy to memorize slip stitch pattern, with only one color used at a time. A band of solid color gives a visual break in the dotted slipped stitches. This solid color also presents at the border, for a lace edging that resembles the leaves of an oak tree, particularly with a good blocking.
