BLUE LIGHT GLASSES

Who wants a science lesson? When it gets dark your body's pineal gland (that lives in your brain), secretes the hormone melatonin, which makes you tired and helps you drop off to sleep. Blue light, which usually comes from the sun inhibits melatonin production. Makes sense right? The sun is out, we want to be alert, the sun goes down we get tired, we go to bed. Problem, light bulbs, TV's computer screens and cell phones all produce large amounts of blue light and because of this, they disrupt melatonin production after dark, and mess up your sleep pattern. These blue light blocking glasses effectively block blue light allowing you to Netflix and chill or stay up all night looking at your computer screen whilst pretending to work. The result, you get to look at screens and your body still produces melatonin, your one way ticket to sleep paradise. Stick them on a few hours before bed and you are golden. So, how do you sleep at night?
