Blue jean boogie 8, 2019, Acrylic on canvas, 6 x 6 inches.

This series of small work reminds me of the seams and pockets of some blue jeans and has a nostalgic effect. The overall visual effect is to make you feel comfortable, happy, relaxed, maybe even a little melancholy. The description is how expressive contour can be in painting abstract art. It expresses the way Rock n' Roll music has a similar expressive feeling in sound also. So these two things together make this artwork come alive in a sense of style and expression.
