BlueGreen Algae Water Test

Introducing the BLUEGREEN TEST®, a revolutionary rapid diagnostic tool designed to detect a wide range of hepatotoxins directly on-site. Utilizing an innovative single-step, sandwich-type, non-competitive immunocomplex assay method, this test can identify eleven common hepatotoxins in just 15 minutes, with sensitivity levels below 0.1 µg/L. Unlike traditional immunoassays, which involve complex, multi-step processes, the BLUEGREEN TEST® offers a streamlined single-step in vitro approach, delivering immediate, sensitive, and indicative results in just 10 minutes. By enabling testing directly at the water source, this test provides real-time insights into the water's current state, allowing for quick and informed decision-making. Nutrient pollution caused by excess nitrogen and phosphorus is a significant environmental concern in the United States. When these nutrients accumulate in water bodies, they promote the rapid growth of algae, leading to harmful algal blooms. These blooms can negatively impact water quality, aquatic habitats, and wildlife, posing risks to pets and humans alike. Testing for blue-green algae toxicity is crucial for safeguarding the health and well-being of both animals and humans. Blue-green algae, or cyanobacteria, thrive in various aquatic environments, including marine waters, freshwater lakes, and brackish habitats. Under favorable conditions, such as optimal light, temperature, and nutrient levels, cyanobacteria can undergo rapid growth, resulting in algal blooms. Pets, including dogs, are particularly vulnerable to the harmful effects of algae toxins. Dogs may ingest contaminated water while swimming or playing near affected areas, leading to symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, weakness, difficulty breathing, and seizures. In severe cases, exposure to algae toxins can be fatal. If your pet exhibits any of these symptoms after contact with algae-infested water, seek immediate veterinary attention. Protect your pets and loved ones by detecting and monitoring blue-green algae toxicity with the BLUEGREEN TEST®. With its rapid and accurate results, you can take proactive steps to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of your water sources.
