Blue Dragon Interconnect Cable for Naim Gear

Sold Individually This Blue Dragon Interconnect for Naim Gear will satisfy our friends in need of a high-resolution copper version of our popular Silver Dragon Naim Interconnect. The Blue Dragon is designed to be as neutral as possible without sounding dry or flat and utilizes our famous UP-OCC copper conductors. This transition from a silver to a copper-based conductor design brings it in line with the rest of the Blue Dragon series. allowing it to go hand in hand with the new Blue Dragon Power Cables. Quality You Can Trust Most stock cables are made of poor, ultra-thin conductors with poor geometries, rubber jackets, and other issues that can limit the performance of your equipment. Dragon Cables are handcrafted from quality materials in Moon Audio's headquarters in Cary, North Carolina. All of our cables are created with ultra pure, single-crystal silver and copper strands and engineered to provide the cleanest, most musical presentation. Our wire is void of impurities and crystalline boundaries, leaving nothing between you and your music. Blue Dragon Sound Signature The Blue Dragon is our neutral and natural-sounding cable. It improves dynamics without changing the original flavor of the headphone. Think of the Blue Dragon like a wipe for your eyeglass lenses: You're removing obstructions to the best view but not altering your prescription. The Blue Dragon does just that; it adds more of what the headphone already has and makes it better. You get to hear more of the micro-dynamics of the music without tipping the sound signature forward or making it laid back. The Blue Dragon pairs well with all genres, especially music full of stringed instruments. You get a better sense of reverberation and quicker decay of the notes. The piano note decays are quicker almost as if the keys have just had a tune-up. We love this cable with Folk, Americana, Jazz, and singer songwriter music. Again there is no right or wrong to which Dragon Cable you choose. It is about what is right or your ears. Cable Design This NAIM Gear interconnect cable been designed to match the Silver Dragon Naim interconnect cable with copper conductors. The Blue Dragon IC has the same geometry structure as the Blue Dragon Interconnect but it uses a single run of cable. The cable uses 4 x 99.99998% pure UPOCC copper 24AWG Teflon insulated stranded conductors. Each conductor is made up of a special varying size stranding geometry. The conductors are then surrounded by cotton and then a layer of Teflon tape. This version is also shielded and placed in a polyethylene jacket for further protection. The wire is soldered to the connectors with Cardas silver solder. The default RCA is the Cardas GRCN but there are also numerous other custom connection options. The wire is then covered in 1 layer of black Techflex braid and the black over a blue jacket give it a dark blue color. The cable is extremely smooth sounding with great low end and wonderful voicing. As with all our standard custom audio cables, we offer a 30-day money back guarantee. We always recommend a 100 hour break-in time on this Blue Dragon IC for Naim Gear in order to truly experience the difference it makes. Press and Reviews Headphone.Guru by Gary Alan Barker Jun. 2018
