8-Inch Skimmer Weir Gate – Universal Pool Skimmer Flap | Blue Devil B8508

Restore your skimmer's debris-trapping ability with the Blue Devil B8508 replacement weir gate. Sized at 8 inches, this gate sits at the skimmer throat and pivots with the water surface, channeling floating leaves, insects, and twigs into the basket while preventing them from drifting back into the pool. Its solid plastic construction resists warping, cracking, and chemical degradation, holding up to continuous submersion and seasonal temperature swings. Dropping it into place takes only moments, making it one of the simplest upgrades you can make to keep your water surface spotless. Key Benefits Precision 8-Inch Fit: Matches standard 8-inch skimmer openings for a flush, wobble-free installation that restores full skimming efficiency. Continuous Debris Capture: The floating gate action forces leaves, bugs, and surface debris into the skimmer basket, stopping them from recirculating through the pool. Chemical-Resistant Plastic: Stands up to chlorine, bromine, and other sanitizers without brittleness or discoloration over extended use. Drop-In Replacement: No tools or adhesives required. Slide the gate into the skimmer channel and it begins working immediately.
