Blue Chip Creeping Juniper

The Blue Chip Juniper (Juniperus horizontalis 'Blue Chip') is a popular, low-growing coniferous evergreen shrub widely used as an ornamental groundcover. It features a dense, spreading habit that forms a tight, mat-like carpet over the soil, making it effective for weed suppression, rock gardens, and mass landscape plantings. This hardy shrub is highly resilient, thriving in hot, dry, and urban conditions. It retains its vibrant blue-gray hue throughout the summer, shifting to a beautiful purplish-mauve tint during the winter months.   Botanical Name   Juniperus horizontalis 'Blue Chip' Also Known As   Blue Chip Creeping Juniper | Blue Chip Shrub | Creeping Juniper | 圆柏 Specifications Plant Type   Native From   USDA Zone   Light Needs   Watering Needs   Leaves   Life Cycle   Avg.
