#4 ~ 179g / 0.395lbs / 6.31oz ~ 3.80" x 2.07" x 0.87"  Aragonite is a calcium carbonate mineral with a hardness of 3.5 to 4. It occurs in various colors, including white, gray, reddish, yellow-green, and blue. The most popular varieties for metaphysical use are Red and Blue Aragonite. Aragonite’s crystal system is orthorhombic, and it can be found in prismatic crystals, concretions, stalactitic masses or other forms. Aragonite forms the skeleton of several marine organisms, either living or recently fossilized. It increases one’s capacity to handle strong energies of all types without experiencing stress. It is an excellent stone for those with busy, challenging lives—those who choose to take on many responsibilities, but who wish to remain in touch with all their sensitivities. Blue Aragonite relieves the fear which leads us to numb ourselves to the joys and sorrows of life and brings a renewed zest and courage for experiencing all of one’s feelings. It is not only a powerful intensifier of positive emotional states but is also of assistance in healing past and present emotional wounds. It allows one to embrace fully everything that life brings, making it easier to see the beauty and perfection of both triumph and tragedy, love, and loss.
