Gifts from the Cat Necklace

This pendant is inspired by the little animals surrounding my rural home that have gotten caught by cats or foxes, only to have their body parts hoarded like treasure and left at the doorstep or strewn around the yard. The enamel rabbit head has a mixture of red beads spilling out, adding movement and beauty while also depicting blood. A few freshwater pearls accent the read beads, mimicking maggots starting to burrow out. The pendant hangs from gunmetal chain that's finished off with a lobster clasp. materials: enamel, watercolor enamel, glass beads, freshwater pearls, seed beads, copper, chain, thread necklace length: 18 1/2" pendant length: 2 1/4" pendant width: 7/8" *I hand-paint each individual piece of my jewelry with enamel. The pearls I use are freshwater and thus each one is slightly unique in shape. With these things in mind, please understand each pendant may have slight differences from the one pictured.
