Block weight training involves lifting heavy block-shaped objects, such as dumbbell heads, using a pinch grip. This is a powerful way of improving your hand, wrist and forearm strength and is one of the most popular and effective training techniques for competitive arm wrestlers and grip sport athletes. However, this training method is accessible for all skill levels and is equally as useful if you want to improve your general grip strength for sport, weightlifting, rock climbing and everyday activities. What’s the best way to learn? Despite the popularity and effectiveness of this grip training method, making the most of your block weights requires good understanding and technique. While there are numerous online forums and opinion-pieces dedicated to grip training, the best way to learn is from a professional who’s been where you are and knows from experience the most powerful and successful strength strategies. Plus, an expert grip athlete like Jedd will help you avoid injuries and bad habits. Why should I choose this course? This block weight training video course will give you all the skills and knowledge you need to hyper-track your strength gains and avoid injuries. Increase Your Hand, Wrist and Forearm Strength: When lifting block weights, your hand is forced to remain in an open position. As such, this training is far more effective than strength training that involves a bar that your hand can close around. Whether you're an arm wrestler, rock climber, grip athlete or just want to improve your strength, this is the perfect course for you. Learn From the Best: This course is created and presented by highly experienced grip expert Jedd Johnson of Diesel Crew, who will take you through every aspect of establishing a successful block weight training regime. With the benefit of Jedd’s unrivaled background in grip training, you're in safe (and strong) hands. Avoid Injuries: Due to the high-intensity, low-repetition style of block weight training, this kind of grip strengthening workout carries low risk of tennis elbow and other repetitive strain type injuries. Improving your hand, wrist and forearm strength can also help guard against these sorts of injuries during other activities, such as weightlifting.
