Block Print Sorbet Stripe Top

The TOAST Block Print Sorbet Stripe Top in Soft Aqua is a sleeveless, low-hip length organic cotton top hand block-printed with vibrant sorbet stripes by artisans in India — the slight unevenness in color and line that comes with the hand printing process is what gives this piece its character, a quiet reminder that something human made it.  FIT & CONSTRUCTION Regular fit Sleeveless with softly gathered tie neck Side hem slits Low-hip length Corozo (natural nut) buttons A little unevenness in color and design is characteristic of the hand block printing process Model is 5'9.5" and wears a size 4 MATERIALS Fabric: 100% Organic Cotton Made: Hand block-printed in India by skilled artisans using a centuries-old technique — each block hand-carved, then carefully lined up by eye upon the fabric, one impression at a time. It is the slowest of all textile printing methods, and among the most beautiful. Sustainability: TOAST is committed to designing for longevity — using natural materials where possible and continuously exploring ways to keep garments in use for longer through their Circle program, which includes repair, resale, and take-back initiatives. Corozo buttons are made from the natural tagua nut, a renewable and biodegradable alternative to plastic. CARE Machine wash with similar colors. Reshape whilst damp and dry flat or hanging to prevent the need for ironing. If ironing is needed, do so whilst slightly damp or using the steam setting. Store hanging away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. STYLED BY LADDER Wear the Block Print Sorbet Stripe Top tucked into a wide-leg linen trouser and flat sandals for an easy warm-weather look, or knot the tie neck loosely over a high-waisted midi skirt for a more relaxed, resort-ready silhouette. ABOUT TOAST Founded in 1997 in Wales, TOAST began with nightwear and loungewear inspired by the surrounding landscape and a slower way of life — and has grown into a thoughtful lifestyle brand rooted in the same unhurried ethos. Every piece is designed with natural materials and long wear in mind, with colors drawn from nature and shapes kept simple but functional. TOAST works with skilled makers around the world to create original fabrics, prints, and garments using time-honored methods, and their Circle program — which encompasses repair, resale, renewal, and take-back — reflects a genuine commitment to keeping clothes in use for as long as possible.
