About the Badge The Block Exchange Badge celebrates the collaborative spirit of quilting by encouraging Scouts to participate in a quilt block swap. This badge promotes creativity, skill-sharing, and community building as Scouts exchange blocks with other quilters. Each Scout contributes their own style and craftsmanship, and in return, receives blocks that can be combined into a unique, collective project. Badge Requirements Participate in a quilt block exchange Make the agreed number of quilt blocks Incorporate your own style and creativity into each block Swap your quilt blocks with other participants Receive blocks from fellow participants Assemble the blocks you received into a quilt top, wall hanging, or other creative project. The patch measures 2″ x 2″. The patch has a Pellon interfacing on the back to cover embroidery threads and is intended to be sewn-on. It is not an iron-on patch. Vinyl Sticker The sticker is a thick and durable vinyl that is weatherproof and waterproof. Vinyl sticker measures 2″ x 2″.
