Blitz Backgammon

The Umbra Blitz Backgammon combines two classic games, checkers and backgammon, in one sleek, modern design that proves game night essentials can look just as good on a shelf as they play on the table. Inspired by the soft curves of Umbra's Bellwood collection, Blitz folds neatly in half for easy storage, portability, or display when not in use, making it equally at home on a coffee table or tucked away for the next gathering. Whether you're hosting a weekend game night, packing for a trip, or simply want a stylish board game on display, the Blitz Backgammon delivers genuine versatility with warm, considered design.  This thoughtfully crafted game set is more than just a board. Open it up to reveal a printed checkerboard on warm ashwood, with a soft cork interior for a tactile backgammon experience, giving players two beloved games in a single compact case. Complete with five dice and 32 glossy playing pieces, Blitz offers everything you need for game night in one thoughtfully designed set, and measures approximately 14.7 by 19 by 2 inches when unfolded. The ash has a soft, pale tone that feels easy on the eyes, and the rounded edges make the case comfortable to handle, while dice roll against the cork interior with a softer sound, adding to the calm, tactile feel of the set.  Umbra designs with practicality, innovation, and everyday problem-solving at its core. Designed by Matt Carr, who is compelled to create products that balance business and imagination, Blitz Backgammon reflects that same thoughtful approach to reinventing traditional objects. Through warm natural materials and clever foldable engineering, Umbra helps you build moments of connection that feel relaxed, considered, and genuinely fun.
