Blanton's Single Barrel & Eagle Rare Bourbon Bundle

The Blanton’s Original Single Barrel & Eagle Rare Bundle pairs two iconic Kentucky bourbons into a single tasting journey — one showcasing the singular character of a hand-selected single barrel, the other offering age-stated elegance and refined oak-driven depth. Blanton’s delivers bright citrus and vanilla-forward single-barrel complexity with collectible flair, while Eagle Rare brings a decade of maturation, revealing toasted oak, toffee, and polished spice. Together they make a refined gift for collectors, a starter duo for side-by-side tastings, or a centerpiece for any bourbon shelf. Process & Profile Blanton’s Original Single Barrel A single-barrel expression, each bottle is drawn from one cask and bottled to showcase that barrel’s unique fingerprint. Typically presented at roughly 93 proof, Blanton’s is prized for its consistency of quality and the subtle variations that make every bottle slightly different. Eagle Rare Kentucky Straight Bourbon (10 Years) An age-stated 10-year bourbon that emphasizes slow, measured maturation in new charred oak barrels. Bottled at approximately 90 proof (45% ABV), Eagle Rare balances concentrated oak influence with refined sweetness from extended aging. These two production approaches — single-barrel selection versus age-stated blending of barrels to a house style — create a complementary contrast: immediacy and uniqueness from Blanton’s, and slow-aged depth from Eagle Rare. Tasting Notes Blanton’s Original Single Barrel Aroma: Bright orange peel, vanilla bean, honeyed caramel, and a touch of baking spice. Palate: Silky vanilla and toffee with candied citrus, light oak, and a whisper of peppery spice. Finish: Medium to long, warm with lingering vanilla and gentle baking spice. Eagle Rare (10 Years) Aroma: Toasted oak, cocoa nibs, ripe dried fruit, and a hint of leather. Palate: Rich caramel and butterscotch, dark chocolate undertones, dried orange, and resolved oak tannins. Finish: Long, dry-leaning, with lasting oak spice and a subtle nutty sweetness. What Makes It Special Single-Barrel vs. Age-Statement Contrast: Blanton’s showcases the personality of an individual cask, while Eagle Rare demonstrates the cumulative influence of ten years of maturation — perfect for comparative tastings. Collectible Presentation: Blanton’s signature bottle and stopper set are instantly recognizable and collectible. Balanced Gift Set: The bundle covers two favorite ways to enjoy bourbon — the immediate, unique expression of single-barrel bottlings and the measured, time-earned complexity of age-stated bourbon. Versatility: Both bottles are beloved by neat sippers and cocktail enthusiasts alike, making the duo useful for tasting flights and elevated mixed drinks. How to Enjoy Neat or With a Splash of Water: Appreciate the differences side-by-side in Glencairn glasses — Blanton’s for bright single-barrel nuance; Eagle Rare for deeper oak and aged complexity. On the Rocks: A single large cube softens the stronger oak tones and opens aromatics. Classic Cocktails: Blanton’s adds elegant brightness to an Old Fashioned; Eagle Rare’s fuller body and longer finish make it a superb choice for stirred cocktails like the Manhattan or Boulevardier. Tasting Experience: Host a two-bottle flight to explore how barrel selection and time in wood affect aroma, palate, and finish. Frequently Asked Questions What is Blanton’s Original Single Barrel?
