Blackfoot River - Fall Fly Box

Fish the Blackfoot like you know it — because now you do.   The Blackfoot River Fall Fly Box is hand-curated specifically for the conditions, hatches, and trout behavior you'll encounter on the Blackfoot from September through November. Fall brings BWO hatches and streamer opportunities on the Blackfoot. Bull trout become more active in cooler water and the wild cutthroat fishing remains excellent through October.   This box is built around the Blackfoot's fall hatch calendar — blue-winged olives and late caddis. Every fly was chosen with streamer fishing and BWO dry fly fishing in mind, giving you exactly what you need to match what the fish are eating at this time of year.   What's in the box: 36 flies total — 18 unique patterns, 2 of each — covering streamers, BWO dries, mahogany duns, and large attractor patterns. No filler. No patterns that don't belong on this river in this season.   Pro tip from the water: The Blackfoot is at its most beautiful in fall. Fish the deep pools below the major rapids — that's where the biggest fish hold as temperatures drop.   Whether you're making your first trip to the Blackfoot or you fish it every season, this box gives you a proven starting lineup so you can spend more time fishing and less time digging through bins at the fly shop.   Includes a quality waterproof fly box. All flies are hand-tied to Bozeman FlyWorks standards — the same quality we'd put on our own lines.
