Blackened Collet .84

Collet five stone band set with .84 carats total of old European cut diamonds, each with a softly rounded, slightly irregular outline with hand cut facets characteristic of 19th century cutting. The stones vary subtly in shape and proportion that reflects their hand cut origin. The diamonds are individually framed in Georgian inspired cut down collet settings in blackened silver over 18k yellow gold, forming a continuous row across the finger. The band is constructed with a low, slightly domed profile, allowing it to sit close to the finger while maintaining a sense of structure. The darkened silver surrounds create contrast and definition, emphasizing the depth and natural variation of each antique diamond. All images feature the exact ring available for purchase.
