Black Walnut Tincture

Crafted slowly and intentionally on our homestead, this Black Walnut Tincture is a seasonal botanical extract made from black walnuts harvested directly from the land at Yisrael Farms. Fresh green walnuts are carefully prepared and steeped in premium vodka alongside organic vanilla bean, organic star anise, and whole organic cloves — creating a deeply aromatic botanical blend rooted in traditional herbal practices. This small-batch tincture reflects our commitment to stewardship and whole-plant craftsmanship. Each bottle captures the richness of the harvest season, honoring ancestral methods of preservation while transforming the gifts of the land into a shelf-stable botanical preparation. Warm notes of spice and subtle vanilla round out the naturally bold character of black walnut, creating a complex extract that embodies both strength and balance. Black walnut has been traditionally used in herbal practices for generations. Herbalists have historically valued black walnut hull preparations for supporting digestive balance and overall internal cleansing traditions. In folk herbalism, it has also been appreciated for its naturally astringent properties and its role in seasonal wellness routines. The warming botanicals included in this blend — star anise, clove, and vanilla — have long been used in traditional preparations to support digestion and create balance within herbal formulas.
