Black Throated Tit

Exotic Bird Series (Jiangxi, China): Black Throated Tit Vitreous Enamel on Copper Wall Art… The Black Throated Tit is tiny bird typically seen throughout the Himalayas. While they are known to have great variation in appearance, the black-throat, bandit-mask, and bold yellow eyes are classic features. The inspiration for this piece came from a photograph of a Black-Throated Tit taken in Jiangxi, China. This particular bird, a male, demonstrates the classic bold pattern along with colorful chestnut, white, and black markings. Black Throated Tit is a single, enameled panel.  The hammered surface texture increases the reflective sparkle and projects the bird forward from the background. This handmade Vitreous Enamel Art can be hung on your wall, displayed on a shelf, or placed on a tabletop.  The overall presentation is enhanced by the enamel panels appearing to float above the elegant acrylic background in a deep gallery frame.  Each wall piece is completed with a hanging wire and a dust cover backing.  We also include: information about your special piece and the artist, a complimentary wall hanger with nail, and felt bumpers - so you are ready to hang your new piece the minute it arrives! Overall Dimensions: 9-1/4" x 9-1/4" square x 1-1/2" (d)
