Black Soldier Fly Larvae

Black Soldier Fly Larvae have a high calcium content in comparison to many other live feeders. WE ONLY CARRY MEDIUM. They works great for the vast majority of insect eating animals. SMALL/LARGE AVAILABLE VIA PREORDER. EMAIL OR CALL! These larvae have the ability to help prevent Metabolic Bone Disease, which is caused by a calcium deficiency, in reptiles and amphibians. A great added bonus is that these feeders require minimal care! These feeders do not need to be fed to stay alive, don't make noise, and give off no odors! Keep at room temperature, and add a few drops of water when the provided substrate becomes dry. If you plan to use the larvae after two weeks or later, store them in a closed lid container (with some ventilation) in a cool place (NOT in standard refrigerator!) 50-55°F degrees is ideal. Allow them to warm up at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes before feeding to your animal. Nutritional Values: Moisture 73.2% Crude Protein 57% Calcium 3.14% Phosphorus 1.28% Ca:P 2.5:1
