Martin's Black IPA Recipe Kit

This is craft beer at home, minus the guesswork. This Black IPA recipe kit comes with every pre-measured ingredient you need to brew Martin's Black IPA, a 5-gallon all-grain batch, from grain to glass. Black IPA answers to a few names, Cascadian Dark Ale among them, and it started as an argument the Pacific Northwest never fully settled. The idea is an IPA's hop punch dressed in the color of a porter, built on debittered dark malts that give deep brown and near-black hues without the heavy roast of a stout. Citrus and pine hops meet a faint note of cocoa and coffee. This one carries Citra, Amarillo, and Cascade over a grist chosen for color rather than roast, so the darkness reads as depth instead of bitterness.
