Easy to Work With: Softer composition is perfect for inlay, turning, and cabbing without splintering. Creative Applications Jewelry & Ring Inlay: The top choice for creating passionate, eye-catching jewelry that makes a bold statement. Custom Woodworking: Creates a dramatic "lava flow" effect when filling voids in woods like maple or cherry. Resin Art & Casting: The perfect material for galaxy-themed or volcanic-inspired resin pours and dice. Pen Turning: Craft premium pen blanks that look like they hold a smoldering fire within. Pro-Tip: The opal's true vibrancy is revealed when "wet" or mixed with a binder (like resin or CA glue). To enhance the dark base, we recommend preparing your inlay channel with black paint or dyed epoxy.
