Creative Applications Lapidary Cutting: Shape into cabochons, free forms, or custom cuts for rings, pendants, and earrings. Inlay Work: Use in wood, resin, or metal designs to add premium flashes of color. Wire Wrapping: The vibrant contrast of the rough makes it ideal for eye-catching wire-wrapped jewelry. Craft & Design: Perfect for decorative accents in knives, pens, instruments, or art projects. Please Note: Our lab-created opals can withstand heat up to approximately 250°F, avoid exposing them to high heat. Color and pattern may vary slightly from piece to piece. To display the opal's finished color, we take photos after using a liquid medium. The piece you receive will be a rough cut and may not appear polished or gloss. We do our best to capture the true colors of each piece, but please keep in mind that opal’s appearance can shift dramatically depending on the lighting.
