Black Diamond Speed 30 Backpack

A lightweight alpine climbing pack for technical mountaineers and ski alpinists who need ice tool carry, crampon storage, and organized volume at a weight that doesn't penalize speed on long routes, the Black Diamond Speed 30 Backpack uses 210D X-rip nylon with UTS coating in an S/M version that holds 28 liters at 990g and an M/L that expands to 30 liters at 1.14kg. The welded front abrasion patch protects against crampon contact, and the custom metal dogbone ice tool attachment with removable 20mm crampon straps handles standard alpine hardware without additional lashing. For alpinists who move fast on technical terrain and need a pack that keeps up, the Speed 30 delivers purpose-built alpine carry at a weight that competes with approach packs half its usable capacity.
