Black Diamond Impulse Ti 98 Skis

The Black Diamond Impulse Ti 98 as the ultimate all mountain "do-it-all" ski from Black Diamond for your local mountain or yearly ski trip.  Whether you’re navigating the tight trees chasing friend or hunting for powder stashes passed the gates, this ski is engineered to handle the unique, variable conditions we call home. We love that this ski can "blow through chop" and tackle "steep, chalky, technical lines" with confidence. The Impulse Ti 98 blends a poplar wood core with a high-performance Titanal sheet. This combination adds the dampness and stability you need for firm morning groomers, while remaining playful enough to pivot through heavy spring slush. Finding a ski that balances resort performance with backcountry capability is no easy feat. The Impulse Ti 98 is lighter than most traditional alpine skis, making it a phenomenal hybrid choice. Great for alpine bindings but ready for anything--tour lighter and stronger with the Dynafit Rotation, Duke PT, or Salomon Shifts if you are going for a more hybrid setup. It is the perfect "entry into touring" ski for beginner to intermediate riders who want one setup that can do it all without weighing them down on the skin track.
