Black Diamond Impulse Gloves

Freeride ski gloves for aggressive terrain and hard snow where high insulation and proven waterproofing need to hold up across a full day of skiing, the Impulse Gloves from Black Diamond use a GORE-TEX insert with GORE plus warm technology for a waterproof breathable barrier that performs in sustained cold and wet conditions. The back of the hand carries 200g of PrimaLoft Gold Cross Core insulation for maximum warmth in exposed freeride terrain, while the palm runs 80g PrimaLoft Gold Eco with Grip Control for dexterity and tactile feedback at the pole and boot. A goat leather shell handles abrasion from pole grips, lift bars, and pack straps, and EVA padding on the hand back and knuckles absorbs impact from falls on hard snow. The neoprene cuff is widened for a secure closure over ski jackets without restricting wrist movement. At 266g per pair, the Impulse Gloves deliver GORE-TEX waterproofing with a 200g/80g insulation split between back and palm, purpose-built for freeride skiing rather than touring or resort-only use.
