Black Diamond Blend

Black Diamond Blend from Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters isn't a coffee for everyone—and that's exactly the point. This is a French-style dark roast built for those who seek intensity, depth, and the kind of bold character that doesn't apologize. Featuring two carefully selected Latin American coffees pushed to their darkest expression, Black Diamond delivers the stout, almost chewy body and bittersweet complexity that dark roast purists crave. Tasting Notes Expect deep chocolate, toasted walnut, and a whisper of smoke that lingers long after the cup is empty. The body is heavy and viscous, coating the palate with a richness that stands up to milk while remaining compelling black. Acidity is minimal—this is about bass notes, not brightness. The finish is clean despite the roast level, a testament to Evans Brothers' skill in coaxing sweetness from beans taken to the edge. Brew Methods Black Diamond shines brightest in methods that embrace its bold character. Pull it as espresso for a dense, syrupy shot that cuts through milk drinks with authority—perfect for traditional cappuccinos or flat whites. French press brings out its full body and aromatic oils. It also makes a commanding cold brew with notes of dark chocolate and molasses. Pour over works if you grind coarser and use slightly cooler water to tame any edge, though this coffee was born for immersion and pressure. About Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters Evans Brothers brings a mountain town ethos to their roasting—bold, unapologetic, and crafted for those who know what they want. Their dark roasts honor tradition while maintaining the integrity of the bean, never crossing into ash or char.
