Black clay

Our black clay is originally from slow and millenary erosion of rocks, has in its composition a variety of minerals. They are extracted in a sustainable way in the region of Minas Gerais - there is the largest deposit of kaolin clay in the South of Brazil, as a result of the erosion and sedimentation of rocks in the Serra do Mar. Black clay is the best of clays, the black color of the clay is due to the fact of coming from volcanic soils, being found in the volcanic mud. It is rich in titanium, which makes it an excellent antioxidant. People with very sensitive skin, dehydrated or dry should avoid black clay. The sulfur present in it can dry the skin. In that case, try pink or red clay. For Body: Purifying Body Mask: Start by mixing black clay powder with water or a gentle liquid such as witch hazel or apple cider vinegar to create a smooth paste. Apply the mixture evenly to your body, focusing on areas that need purifying or detoxification. Allow the mask to dry for about 15-20 minutes and then rinse off with warm water. This body mask helps draw out toxins, unclog pores, and leave your skin feeling refreshed and purified. Exfoliating Body Scrub: Combine black clay with Murumuru Bio Scrub. Add Coconut oil or Brazil Nut Oil, to create a paste. Gently massage the mixture onto your body in circular motions, paying extra attention to rough or dry areas. Rinse off thoroughly in the shower to reveal smoother, softer skin. The exfoliating properties of black clay help remove dead skin cells and promote a healthy glow. For Hair: Scalp Detox Treatment: In a bowl, mix black clay powder with a liquid of your choice, such as water or aloe vera gel, until you achieve a paste-like consistency. Apply the mixture directly to your scalp, focusing on areas prone to buildup or oiliness. Massage gently and leave it on for about 10-15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and follow with your regular shampoo and conditioner routine. This scalp treatment helps remove impurities, excess oil, and product buildup, promoting a clean and balanced scalp environment. Clarifying Hair Mask: Mix black clay powder with water or a herbal infusion such as rosemary tea or green tea to create a paste. Apply the mixture to damp hair, starting from the roots and working your way to the ends. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes and then rinse thoroughly. This hair mask helps absorb impurities, excess oil, and pollutants, leaving your hair feeling clean, refreshed, and voluminous. When using black clay on your body or hair, it's important to remember a few general tips. Avoid applying clay near the eyes or on broken skin. Always perform a patch test on a small area of your skin or scalp to check for any adverse reactions before applying it to a larger area. Additionally, it's recommended to follow up with a moisturizer or hair conditioner after using clay to maintain skin and hair hydration. Incorporating black clay into your body and hair care routine can be a fantastic way to purify, detoxify, and refresh your skin and hair naturally. Enjoy the benefits of this mineral-rich clay and indulge in a spa-like experience right at home.
