Black Medium-Thick Super Glue (2 oz) + Aerosol Accelerator (6 oz) — Instant-Cure Kit for Dark Wood Voids

Black Medium-Thick + Aerosol Accelerator. Starbond® Black Medium-Thick Super Glue is a rubber-strengthened adhesive designed for larger repairs and bold accents. This jet-black glue offers exceptional flexibility and impact resistance, making it ideal for heavy-duty bonding and creative projects. Its medium-thick viscosity ensures precise application for filling wider voids and cracks without excessive flow, delivering a strong, seamless bond every time. Perfect for reconing speakers, securing R/C car tires, or accenting spalted wood, this versatile adhesive can also be sanded and polished to a high-gloss finish. Its durable, flexible nature prevents cracking even in malleable environments, ensuring long-lasting results. Used For: Adding black accent designs on spalted wood and dark surfaces. Bonding a variety of materials, including wood, metal, glass, rubber, and more. Repairing and filling larger cracks, voids, and knots in woodworking projects. Securing R/C car tires and locking threads. Speaker manufacturing: bonding top plates, cones, gaskets, and other components. Polishing projects to a high-gloss, durable finish. Starbond® Super Glue Aerosol Accelerator is used to significantly speed up the drying time of cyanoacrylate super glues.  Also known as a CA glue “activator”, this accelerant is solvent-based, and can be applied before and/or after the glue application.  Commonly paired with slower-drying, thicker viscosity adhesives and black CA glue, It is also helpful when priming uneven surfaces.   It’s ideal for material combinations that are harder to bond and for colder, drier environments that delay curing time. Our aerosol cans deliver a finely compressed mist and are perfect for the infrequent user, as the acetone in the product does not escape the bottle organically.  Also available as a pump spray, this accelerator cures super glue in seconds – no more waiting! Used to cure the CA that flows from joints that are being pressed together, greatly enhancing the joints strength When using higher volumes of CA during gap filling applications, bonding time may take much longer, so Accelerator is highly recommended WARNING This product can expose you to chemicals including N,N-Dimethyl-p-Toluidine, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer.
