Simple Gifts for Alto or Baritone Sax and Piano

This familiar Appalachian melody was found in an old hidden shaker hymnal and brought to life in Aaron Copeland's most famous work. Santorella Publications has brought this melody to life in this majestic arrangement for alto saxophone & piano by Jonathon Robbins. Originally written by Elder Joseph Bracket to give thanks and praise for the "Simple Gifts" we all possess. We must all learn to appreciate the "little things" and be true to one another. This simplistic way of life is one that the Amish culture embraces. Simple Gifts has become an inspirational theme which is performed at most every ceremonial event. Simple Gifts arranged for Alto Sax & Piano is a great addition to any classic, wedding or sacred repertoire.
