BKB Ceramics | Joshua Tree, CA BKB Ceramics focuses on pure, sustainable, conscious, handcrafted design. From his home studio in Joshua Tree, Brian Bosworth utilizes many techniques in his work, using rock or Styrofoam casts, a potter's wheel, and hand-construction techniques. These mugs are wheel-thrown using speckled buff clay. The design is taped off individually by hand and dipped in creamy white oatmeal glaze. The finished mug boasts a striking contrast between the raw clay and glaze that reveals the nuance of the firing process. Each piece is unique and will have slight variations.
