BISYOR Bio Kurt, 30g

Bio Kurt (a.k.a. Kashk or Kurut) is a traditional fermented dairy product with deep roots in Middle Eastern and Central Asian cuisines. Historically, it was developed as a method to preserve dairy for extended periods, especially during times when fresh milk was scarce. The fermentation process not only extended the milk's shelf life but also imparted a distinct tangy flavor and unique texture to the product.  In modern times, kurt is typically made by fermenting yogurt or buttermilk, boiling it down, straining, and then drying it to create a coarse powder or dried chunks. This dried form can be rehydrated into a creamy paste, which is then used to enhance the flavor of various dishes. Its tangy and savory profile adds depth to soups, stews, and dips, making it a cherished ingredient in traditional recipes.  Ingredients: cultured milk, iodized salt. Product of Uzbekistan.
