Recycled Plastic Silo Bird Feeder

The Recycled Plastic Silo Bird Feeder is perfect for any modern yard. It is carefully made using 100% recycled materials in Helsinki, Finland, including the rope. The creators of the feeder, Mika & Julie Tolvanen, wanted to design a functional sculpture that also has a positive impact on nature. After studying the eating habits of birds for years, they created the Bird Silo, which functions like a grain silo. To use it, simply lift the top cone, pour in sunflower seeds or peanuts, and watch as the feeder fills from the bottom up. They are committed to making bird feeding a simple and eco-friendly experience. Details Materials: 100% recycled polypropylene bird feeder trays and cap (material certified by Rec-One) 100% recycled P.E.T. polyester rope (material certified by Global Recycled Standard) Stainless steel hardware Size: Ø7” x 9” Made in Finland.  Replacement parts: Nature is unpredictable, so Pidät provides replacement parts (CLICK HERE to request parts, and they'll be in touch!) Squirrel tips: Squirrels tend to pass on sunflower seeds in the shell, opting instead for easier picks like shelled sunflower seeds or peanuts. For best results, hang the feeder just out of reach from the sides to keep them at bay. Want an extra edge? Try mixing in a pinch of chili flakes—squirrels can’t stand the heat, but birds won’t mind a bit. You can even find ready-made chili-infused seed blends from retailers like Wild Birds Unlimited. ** This item is final sale if used **
