100% Squirrel-Proof Bird Feeder

Looking for a fun and entertaining way to feed birds, not squirrels? When a squirrel tries to gain access to the feeder, the spinning action then gently tosses the squirrel off before it can devour your seed supply. Feed Birds, Not Squirrels The Feeder is calibrated to support the weight of even large birds like cardinals and woodpeckers but is immediately activated by squirrels. With less competition from squirrels, birds won’t be able to resist stopping by for a visit! With four feeding ports and a circular perch, multiple birds can dine at the same time, and you can enjoy a better view. CAPACITY: Tube bird feeder holds up to five pounds of birdseed and has four feeding ports Less Seed Waste The feeder’s squirrel-proof design ensures less seed waste, which means money saved and fewer messes on the ground. Plus, the large 5 lb seed capacity ensures you won’t have to worry about birds emptying your feeder too quickly during peak feeding times. Convenient internal baffles also help to keep seed flowing freely to the ports as birds feed. DURABILITY: Bird feeder is constructed of heavy duty metal base and cap. The seed tube is UV-stabilized polycarbonate and won’t fade Easy to Fill & Clean Cleaning and filling is an effortless process thanks to the feeder’s convenient design. This feeder features a lift-off lid and wide-mouth seed reservoir so you can easily get to every nook and cranny. We recommend cleaning the feeder at least every two weeks and regularly checking the seed to ensure it is free of insects and mold. INTERNAL BAFFLE: Internal baffle is desinged to keep seed flowing freely to all four seed ports Seed Recommendations A variety of birds use the Bird Feeder, including cardinals, chickadees, finches, flickers, goldfinches, grackles, grosbeaks, jays, juncos, kinglets, nuthatches, redpolls, siskins, sparrows, starlings, titmice, towhees, woodpeckers, and wrens. The Flipper works with mixed seed, peanut chunks, safflower seed, sunflower kernels, and cracked corn, though it works best with sunflower seeds, a favorite of almost every backyard feeder bird. Now, for the fun stuff: When you receive the feeder, hang the feeder from its looped bail wire, and prepare to be amazed (and entertained!). It is connected to the weight activated perch ring–birds will not set it off, even larger species like woodpeckers and cardinals. But the minute a squirrel hops onto the perch, it is triggered and the feeder begins spinning, taking the squirrel for a whirl before it loses its grip and is thrown (gently) from the perch. It’s a humanitarian way to deal with persistent squirrels–thee are no shocks or poisons to hurt them, simply a wild ride that they won’t be inclined to repeat. Birds are free to eat without disruption, and your family will get a kick out of watching squirrels go for their rides. –Ariel Meadow Stallings Make a World of Difference The act of hanging a bird feeder and keeping it clean and full can improve the chances that birds and their offspring will survive. Homes with bird feeders attract more birds and contribute to sustaining the local ecosystem. By building quality feeders and offering feeder replacement parts, The Squirrel-Proof Bird Feeder strives to keep its feeders in yard and out of landfills.
