Birch Fever, by Kassi Wilson

Poetry, chapbook, 36 pages, from Bottlecap Features. Birch Fever explores the friction between pent-up emotions and family dynamics amid the stunning backdrop of the North Shore. Inspired by a road trip in the dead of winter—temperatures plunge as frayed nerves heat up. This collection is a daring odyssey of suppressed truths, bold confessions, and the changing nature of familial relationships. Be swept away by the beauty of birch trees, mystical forests, and quaint fishing towns. Kassi Wilson is a poet and author based in Cincinnati. Lover of nature walks, books, and black coffee. Her work appears in Clayjar Review and The Way Back To Ourselves Literary Journal. She’s the author of two poetry collections with more projects in the works. Find out more @kassiwilsonpoet
