This Biot Midge is a midge emerger pattern. Simple, slender, delicate and effective. The soft hen hackle imitates the midge larva as it begins to emerge through the film breaking free from it's casting. This particular color scheme will imitate a broad range of midges found in all bodies of water, but this pattern can be tied in various colors. All flies are tied with American sourced materials including Hareline Dubbin Materials and Whiting Farm's Hackles & Capes and are tied on premium hooks.
