The epoxy or "poxy-back" style was originated and popularized by Mike Mercer one of the all-time greatest tiers on the planet. Like all Mercer patterns, not only is this fly extremely effective when golden and pteronarcys stone nymphs are present, the pattern has a realistic elegance that attracts both fish and anglers. Available in standard and jigged versions.
