Bio Quinoa Carrier Oil (Chenopodium Quinoa) | For Skincare and Haircare

Quinoa Seed Oil, obtained through cold pressing of the seeds of Chenopodium quinoa, is a highly nutritive botanical oil prized for its unique balance of essential fatty acids, natural antioxidants, and skin-compatible lipids. Native to the Andean regions of South America, quinoa has long been valued as a “superseed,” and its oil reflects this heritage through an exceptional biochemical profile suitable for both cosmetic and nutritional applications. This oil is characterized by a light-to-medium texture, fast absorption, and a silky, non-greasy finish. Its naturally occurring squalene content, combined with a rich spectrum of tocopherols (Vitamin E) and phytosterols, makes it particularly effective in protecting the skin barrier, improving elasticity, and delivering deep hydration without occlusion. Unlike heavier carrier oils, Quinoa Seed Oil offers excellent dermal affinity, allowing it to integrate seamlessly into the skin’s lipid matrix. This makes it especially valuable in high-performance formulations targeting sensitive, mature, or environmentally stressed skin.
