Licorice Root CO2 Select Extract (Glycyrrhiza Glabra)

Licorice Root CO₂ Extract is a luxurious, full-spectrum botanical extract that embodies over 4,000 years of herbal tradition and modern extraction science. Derived from the roots of Glycyrrhiza glabra, this CO₂ extract preserves both the volatile aromatic molecules and the non-volatile bioactive compounds that make licorice one of the most revered botanicals in herbalism and cosmetics. Unlike alcohol tinctures or solvent extracts, the CO₂ method uses only pressurized carbon dioxide, yielding a pure, solvent-free concentrate rich in glycyrrhizin, glabridin, flavonoids, and plant sterols — compounds known for their anti-inflammatory, soothing, and antioxidant effects. This absolute is prized for its sweet-earthy aroma and extraordinary skin benefits, making it a cornerstone ingredient in luxury skincare, aromatherapy, and natural perfumery. Licorice root has been revered across civilizations — from Egyptian temples to Chinese medicine to Ayurvedic tradition. Known as “Sweet Root” (from the Greek glukos = sweet, rhiza = root), it was used as a natural elixir for vitality, voice, and digestion. In traditional beauty rituals, it was praised for clarifying and illuminating the complexion, while in perfumery, its sweet, earthy aroma symbolized comfort, abundance, and emotional warmth. Today, the CO₂ extract continues this lineage, offering a modern, solvent-free, and potent expression of one of the oldest medicinal roots in human history. Licorice Root CO₂ Extract is more than a natural extract — it is a fusion of ancient wisdom and advanced science. With its soothing sweetness, antioxidant richness, and aromatic warmth, it serves as a bridge between wellness and beauty. In skincare, it brightens and heals; in aromatherapy, it calms and uplifts; in perfumery, it anchors and sweetens with graceful depth. It is a botanical of purity, harmony, and rejuvenation — a timeless ingredient for those who seek authentic natural luxury and holistic wellbeing.
