Big Sur Breeze

Scent Profile:  Top notes of Sea Salt, Citrus Peel, and airy Ozone bloom into middle notes of Lily and Hydrangea with herbal accents of Sage and Eucalyptus.  Maritime base notes of Teakwood, Moss, Patchouli, and Powder complete this floral scent.   The Inspiration:  Do you like to travel? Me, too.  I keep a Wanderlust Bucket List and it seems to grow exponentially every time I look at Instagram.  In searching for things to do near San Francisco, I stumbled across photos of a place known as Calla Lily Valley, off Rt 1 in Garrappatta State Park.  This area near Big Sur is known for sweeping cliffside views of a misty ocean and coastline.  Each spring, Calla Lily Valley erupts into a veritable sea of white blossoms, and if the photos do the real thing any justice, it is simply breathtaking.  Imagine walking down a small valley that gently meanders back and forth, eventually meeting the Pacific Ocean.  As you walk, a light sea breeze tickles your face while the vegetation around you sways in unison.  You notice a lightly floral, salty scent and realize you are surrounded by thousands of bright white lilies. This is what I imagined when I read more about Calla Lily Valley.  It’s the newest addition to my Wanderlust Bucket List.  This candle is made using natural US grown soy wax.
