Super soft t-shirt inspired by "Big D," a popular nickname for Dallas, TX. “Big Dallas” or “Big D” has been the nickname of Dallas for decades. There’s speculation as to when it originated, as is common with many nicknames. One of its first notable uses was by Dallas Morning News columnist Paul Crume, who started his column titled “Big D” in the 1950s. Another early example is Bing Crosby’s song about Dallas, “Big D”, written by Frank Loesser, which was recorded for Crosby’s radio show in 1956. Wherever it originally came from, the nickname stuck!
