BH Zebra Midge - Black

BH Zebra Midge — Black Small, stealthy, and quietly unbothered by your fishing skills. The BH Zebra Midge in Black is the low-profile fly that convinces picky trout they’re getting a gourmet snack — even when the chef is you. For the angler who likes precision over theatrics: this nymph imitates a variety of midge and chironomid pupae, works in stillwater and current, and fits neatly into the AXG Life — Life, Adventure-Ready philosophy. Key Features & Design Color: Black — subtle, effective, and virtually invisible at exactly the right distance. Profile: Imitates midge and chironomid pupae for broad-season effectiveness. Style: Beadhead (BH) zebra nymph pattern — balances good presentation with enough flash to get noticed by trout, not by your fishing buddies. Tying: Simple and easy to tie — great for DIY fly tiers and last-minute field repairs. Use: Versatile across lakes, ponds, and slow runs where midges rule the menu. Performance & Benefits This fly solves the "why aren’t they eating?" mystery without drama. The BH Zebra Midge’s profile and contrast make it irresistible to fish feeding on midges and chironomids — which is a lot of fish, most of the year. Reliable presentation: beadweight keeps the fly in the strike zone, not floating like your patience. Versatile pattern: covers multiple hatch types so you don’t need a dozen flies for one session. Easy to tie and repair: because lost flies are a thing, and tying in the dark by headlamp is character-building. Turn stuck weekends into hero stories with a tiny fly that does big work. Fits perfectly in any fly box and every AXG Life kit — Life, Adventure-Ready and mildly smug about it. Ready to fish smarter (not louder)? Toss the BH Zebra Midge — Black into your leader, and add to cart to make your next catch have something to brag about.
