BH Sparkle Back PT

BH Sparkle Back PT — The Nymph That Shows Up Dressed to Catch Small fly, big attitude. The BH Sparkle Back Pheasant Tail is an upgraded pheasant tail nymph that looks like a buggy buffet to trout and refuses to be ignored. Built for anglers who prefer their fly boxes stocked with things that actually work, this one’s for the weekend warriors, river rat romantics, and anyone living the AXG Life: Life, Adventure-Ready. Key Features & Design Pattern: Upgraded pheasant tail with a sparkle back for extra buggy profile. Hook type: Tied on a scud hook to give a natural, curved nymph silhouette. Bead: Gold bead head — adds weight for quicker sink and a flash that attracts strikes. Use: Effective in moving or still water; imitates a variety of natural nymphs. Performance & Benefits This fly does the job without drama. The scud hook shape presents a lifelike, hunched nymph profile that sits and swims the way real bugs do. The gold bead head gives you two practical wins: subtle extra weight to get down into the strike zone faster, and that glint of color fish can’t resist. Fish it under an indicator, on a jig-style drift, or as part of a multi-fly rig — it blends realism with a touch of flash so even picky trout have a hard time saying no. Whether you’re reading seams on a tight riffle or coaxing bites off a calm pool, the BH Sparkle Back PT turns stuck weekends into better-than-you-remembered stories. It’s dependable, effective, and just snarky enough to keep you entertained while you outwit trout. Add it to your fly box and make your next drift brag-worthy — toss it in your leader and go make better campfire stories.
