Pre-Use Inspection Check the Tank: Inspect the inside and outside of the tank (including the bottom) for cracks, bubbling, or pitting. 2. Preparation & Filling Release Pressure: Turn the pump counterclockwise to remove it and let any remaining pressure escape. Never use tools to force the pump off if the tank is pressurized. Mix Solution: Prepare your spray mixture according to the chemical label instructions. Fill: Pour the mixture into the tank, making sure not to exceed the maximum fill capacity. Secure: Re-insert the pump assembly and tighten it securely. 3. Operation Pressurize: Pump the handle 20 to 25 times to build pressure. Spray: Point the nozzle away from yourself and depress the trigger lever. Adjust Pattern: Twist the nozzle cap to adjust your spray from a fine mist to a solid pin stream. Sprayer Maintenance B&G QT-1 Sprayer Nozzle Care: Periodically remove and clean the entire nozzle assembly. If it becomes clogged, disassemble the nozzle completely and clear out any debris.
