The simple version Better Bones helps provide the calcium and phosphorus needed when building balanced homemade meals for dogs. Why calcium and phosphorus matter Calcium and phosphorus work together in your dog’s diet. Too much or too little of either can throw off the mineral balance of a homemade recipe. Better Bones naturally provides both minerals in approximately a 2:1 calcium-to-phosphorus ratio, using real beef bone rather than synthetic calcium alone. Why we like it Real powdered bone So you can add bone-based minerals without relying on whole bones. Calcium + phosphorus together So both minerals are being added from the same natural bone source. Easy to measure So you can use a consistent amount instead of guessing how much mineral your dog is getting from whole bones. One ingredient Freeze-dried beef bones. No synthetic calcium.
